1. Preparation
• Shave either in the shower or immediately after. This is typically the steam towel step with a professional shave. Heat opens your pores, which consequently cause your whiskers to rise for cleaner shaving.
• Wash your face with a mild cleanser.

Hint: ProEnzyme Trio Cleanser]
This removes all particles from the surface of the skin and prep the skin for shaving.
• Apply a thin layer between the blade and your skin with a small amount of pre-shave lubricant. Often overlooked, pre-shave lubricant is an important step to prevent nicks, cuts and abrasions.
2. Shave
Apply a shave cream for a thin, refined lather. The first pass must go in the same direction as the stubble. This will lift whiskers from their pores and helps prevent razor bumps. Use long even strokes and rinse the blade frequently. If you want to make a second pass for a closer shave, you can at this point shave against the stubble direction. Use a gentle pressure on the blade.
3. Repair
When finished splash your face repeatedly with cold water. This will help close down your pores and sooth skin.
Pat face dry.
If you are prone to razor bumps or burn,
apply a toner containing aspirin.
