Bourdain is bad
The perfect blend of NYC no bs, food snoot in the know, and
travel guru who gets way out there...turn to Anthony Bourdain. The guy knows his
food and is a cool and entertaining guy to watch. And, unlike other food shows,
his show starts with a warning to let viewers who are "easily offended" to
leave...love it!

find out!

Progress Regress
 New York
City seems to be a giant construction site nowadays. Practically overnight,
buildings that existed for 100 years or more are replaced with new colossal
structures. Perhaps this construction is progress, but the days of 'classic' New
York are definitely coming to a close.

I Fela Kuti
Fela Anikulapo Kuti was
both popular and prolific, and over the course of 30 years he released more than
80 albums and even ran an aborted presidential campaign - a testament to the
power of his critiques and his musical vision. Since his death in 1997 following
a prolonged battle with AIDS, interest in his work has been rekindled. To this
day, no other pop-culture icon has spoken truth to power in a more accessible
form; it's an example many artists could stand to follow. As Kuti put it in a
1982 documentary film on his life, 'Music is the weapon of the future'.Jon
Caramanica, Vibe Magazine" He was finally laid to rest in front of his house,
Kalakuta, in Ikeja on the morning of Tuesday 12 August, 1997. His son, Femi,
played a plaintive sax solo. A gentle rain fell; like perfume. Bring his musical
genius and spirit into your life and
enjoy!

six times more efficient as the best sports car, this is the ultimate in both
power, performance and eco-sensitivity!

Carrots are actually supposed to be maroon. Dutch
